C2 level (native):Â I scored a 145 in the DET English test, which is equivalent to an 8.5 on the IELTS or 119 on the TOEFL.
Spanish
Spanish is my mother tongue. I can speak, read, write and understand to perfection. I take Spanish Literature A in the IB.
Leadership
Throughout my schooling years I have developed a great passion and ability for leadership, embracing a wide variety of leadership positions and roles, ranging from administrative duties like being the school vice governor, to public positions such as being the Head Boy of my school. I have found a great way to influence others to pursue their dreams, and channel the abilities of a team or group into a common goal. As a result, I have gotten to develop a particular leadership style based on experience and improvement.
Teamwork
As part of the school’s volleyball team and making part of distinctive groups of students like the Prefects (top 16 senior students) and Peer to Peer Mentors I have learned about the value of teamwork and my role within a team as a leader and follower.
Communication
Having delivered a TEDx talk, countless speeches as Head Boy, and participating in Model UN for over 8 years, I have developed a strong set of communication skills which allow me to effectively work with other people and share my ideas in public. I really enjoy speaking in front of audiences and delivering presentations.
